The heart behind Traveling Spa Girl

Hi, I'm Megan, a licensed esthetician, corrective skincare specialist, and 3x Certified Acne Specialist with over 17 years of experience helping clients achieve healthier, more confident skin.

Here's what I want you to know: I get it. I know how frustrating and emotional it can feel to struggle with your skin, because I've been there too. That's exactly why I do what I do, and to me, healthy skin will always matter more than a “perfect” complexion.

My Story

It started with my own skin.

My passion for skincare started because I know firsthand how frustrating it is to struggle with your skin. I understand what it's like to search for answers, feel overwhelmed by endless products, and wonder why nothing seems to work. That experience shaped the way I care for every client who walks through my door.

I built my foundation in established salon and spa environments, and before becoming an esthetician I spent years in customer service management for luxury brands, learning the importance of communication, relationships, and exceptional client experiences. I became certified in relaxation massage in 2006 before attending Brown Aveda Institute in 2008 to pursue esthetics.

Everything changed in 2019, when I helped my very first acne client achieve clear skin. Watching her confidence grow alongside her transformation made me realize I wasn't just passionate about skincare, I was passionate about changing lives.

Education is one of the most important parts of my approach. I want you to understand not only what we're doing, but why. When you understand your skin, you're empowered to care for it with confidence between appointments, and you'll never be pressured into treatments or products that aren't the right fit.

When I'm not in the treatment room, I'm always looking for ways to keep learning and growing so I can better serve my clients, from advanced corrective treatments to new techniques and technologies.

One of my favorite parts of this work is the relationships I've built over the years. Many of my clients have trusted me with their skin for more than a decade, and walking with them through different seasons of life, from acne journeys to weddings, pregnancies, and healthy aging, is one of the greatest privileges of my work. Support shouldn't end when your appointment does, so I'm always happy to answer questions and celebrate your progress along the way.
